Wheat futures on the CBOT traded over 1% higher as persisting dry weather conditions triggered concern of crop damage in the US. Weather conditions in the wheat growing regions of the US have been unfavourable for the past few months. Cold and dry weather conditions in the country have hit yields of winter wheat crop.
