Temperatures across South Haryana, North Rajasthan and parts of North Madhya Pradesh have dropped significantly. Many districts over these areas have been observing minimums even less than 4-degree mark. Parts of Rajasthan have been witnessing minimums below 4 degrees. In fact, Sikar has recorded its minimum at 0 degree while the minimum in Sri Ganganagar settled at 2.2 degree Celsius. Due to this, frost formation has taken place in Sri Ganganagar. This frost has furthermore damaged several mustard crops in Sri Ganganagar which has in turn increased the worry of farmers in the region.
