Arrivals of new crop of soybean in spot markets across the country was at 500,000 bags (1 bag = 100 kg) up 100,000 bags from Thursday. In Madhya Pradesh, supplies were seen at 250,000 bags, up 50,000 bags from Thursday. In other soybean producing states like Rajasthan and Maharashtra, arrivals were seen doubling to 150,000 bags from Thursday, Mangal added. Soybean arrivals in various markets have risen by 40% on year.
