Maharashtra minister denies role in irregularity in tur procurement.

Maharashtra Minister of State for Textile and Dairy Development Arjun Khotkar has denied any unfair dealings in the sale of tur done by him and his family. My family has 400 acres of land and 200-300 quintal of tur sale is a very narrow thing for us. I have not done a crime by selling tur which I have sown. It has been presented in a wrong way. His clarification comes after Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee alleged Khotkar involvement in the sale of tur to NAFED at a time when farmers are struggling to sell their produce. However, the government sensed that there have been some irregularities in the procurement activity where government officials, political leaders, and traders have taken undue benefit.
