Prices of mustard seed are up in Jaipur, due to renewed demand from domestic oil millers after a recent fall in prices. Arrivals across the country were estimated at 250,000 bags (1bag=85kg) compared with 300,000 bags on previous close. Lower arrivals and expectations of a pick-up in demand ahead of Ramzan, also supported prices. Supplies are lower as farmers are holding their produce because the expectation of prices to rise in the coming days.
