Prices of mustard seed are tad up in Jaipur, owing to renewed demand from domestic stockists after a recent fall in prices. Lower arrivals also supported the prices. Arrivals across the country are estimated at 250,000 bags (1bag=85kg) compared with 280,000 bags on previous close. Supplies are lower because farmers are not ready to sell their produce at existing rates. Expectations of higher output in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun), capped gains in prices.
