NAFED has procured 3,853 tonne of rabi masur as of 12 May under price stabilisation fund. The procurement drive is under way in Jhansi and Lalitpur districts of Uttar Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, procurement is being carried out in Vidisha, Sagar, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Bhopal and Ratlam. Over 2,700 farmers have sold their produce to the agency.
