NCDEX has modified quality specifications for mustard seed oilcake contracts expiring in November or thereafter. No sand and silica content will be allowed now, against the earlier norm of allowing up to 1%. Also, the permissible limit for fibre has been increased to 10% from 8%. Contracts expiring in Jul-Oct would continue to be traded as per the existing specifications.
