NCDEX maize down more on high supply, weak demand om 31 May.

Futures contracts of maize on NCDEX fell for the second consecutive session due to high supply and weak demand, as the quality of the rabi crop was poor, while supplies are high. There are very few buyers for rabi maize in Bihar, the largest producer in India, as unseasonal rains have led to higher moisture content in the crop. Demand from south Indian states is also weak this year, as they have enough production of their own.
