Arrivals of the new crop of cotton have begun in the spot markets of Haryana, the largest producer in north India. Arrivals estimated at around 200 bales on 1 sep, higher than 100 bales on 31 aug. Arrivals of the new crop in neighbouring states such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Telangana will start from mid-September.
