Peas export from Canada increases by 41.3 % to 3.31 MMT till 25 th June 2017 in comparison to year to date last year. Canada had exported2.33 MMT peas till 25th June.2016. However,shipment has slowed down due to weak demand from India and higher fumigation charges (5 times higher) may restrict exporters to maintain the previous export pace. In the third week of June Canada exported 29,600 tonne peas in various countries.
