Peas markets in Canada traded firm due to exporters demand at regular intervals. There is a concern in market that Indian demand would decrease considerably due to end of fumigation exemption in India. From 1st of July-2017, fumigation rule will be enforced. It will slow down export movement from Canada to India. Local market participants expect demand from from Spain. Spain has faced a drought like condition and peas and other grains production is bound to decline there.
