2018 increased at 22.61 million tonnes up by 10.89 per cent from 20.39 million tonnes during the corresponding period last year. Highest stock could be seen in the state of Punjab (80.61 lakh tonnes) followed by Andhra Pradesh (19.58 lakh tonnes) and Haryana (17.16 lakh tonnes) and Uttar Pradesh (14.48 lakh tonnes).
