NCDEX is likely to launch mustard seed oilcake futures contracts from 24 April. The Securities and Exchange Board of India is likely to have given permission on 20 April and the exchange may launch May, June, July, and August contracts initially. The contract size will be of 10 tonne and basis centre would be Jaipur, Rajasthan. Mustard seed oilcake is a derivative of mustard seed and is widely used as a cattle feed.
