Canada exported 0.41 million tonne of peas in April, up 224% on year. The exports are up 8% on month. The country exported 0.33 million tonne of lentils in April, which is down 54.34% compared with the previous month. However, so far exports of lentils for the marketing year ending July are at 0.70 million tonne, up from 0.59 million tonne exported during the same period last season. India imports 0.60-0.80 million tonne of lentils per year from Canada.
