Barley prices fell in Jaipur, due to a rise in arrivals coupled with lacklustre demand from malt manufacturing companies. New crop arrivals of barley were estimated at 70,000 bags (1bag=85kg) compared with 55,000 bags. Concerns about the quality of arrivals have hit demand, which also weighed on prices.
