Maize prices drifted lower in futures trade as participants trimmed holdings in sync with weak sentiments at the physical markets. Cutting down of positions by participants, tracking a weak trend at the spot markets on increased supplies from growing belts against muted demand from poultry feed makers, led to the fall in maize prices at futures market here.
