Price of maize in key wholesale markets of Purnea and Davangere were steady. In Purnea, the key market for maize in Bihar, the coarse grain was sold at around 1,400 rupees per 100 kg, steady from previous close. Prices have stabilised at the current level, after rising from 1,380-1,390 rupees in early October.
