Prices of mustard seed hit a one-month low in Jaipur due to estimates of higher output in 2016-17 (July-June). Output of mustard seed in Rajasthan is expected to rise 14.5% on year to 3.7 million tonne. Arrivals across the country today were estimated at 445,000 bags (1bag=85kg) compared with 395,000 bags. Higher arrivals amid weak demand from oil millers and crushers further weighed on prices.
