Prices of mustard seed were down in Jaipur due to a rise in arrivals and fall in demand for mustard meal. In Jaipur, the benchmark market, the oilseed was sold at 4,370-4,375 rupees per 100 kg, down 15-20 rupees. Arrivals in Rajasthan were estimated at 80,000 bags, against 75,000 bags. Tracking the trend in the spot market, the October contract of mustard seed on NCDEX was down 0.9% at 4,201 rupees per 100 kg.
