Prices of mustard seed are up in Jaipur due to lower arrivals of the oilseed, coupled with a rise in demand from oil millers and crushers. Demand from domestic oil millers rise after a recent fall in prices. Arrivals across the country are estimated at 240,000 bags (1bag=85kg), compared with 260,000 bags on previous close. Expectation of a pick-up in demand ahead of Ramzan is creating bullish sentiment in the market.
