The November contract of barley was up on NCDEX as prices of the grain rose in Jaipur, the benchmark market. On NCDEX, the November contract was at 1,943 rupees per 100 kg, up 1.5 rupees. Price of barley rose in Jaipur due to negligible supply in the market coupled with improved demand from brewers and domestic stockists.
