NCDEX coriander down on profit booking, spot unch

The September futures contract of coriander fell on the NCDEX investors booked profits after prices hit a two-week high of 4,955 rupees per 100 kg on Thursday. The near-month September contract was at 4,759 rupees per 100 kg, down 0.5%. However, prices were unchanged in Ramganj, a major trading centre. The badami variety was was sold at 4,253 rupees per 100 kg, and the eagle variety was sold at 4,400 rupees. Arrivals in Rajasthan were also steady at 8,000 bags (1 bag = 40 kg).
