Futures contracts of mustard seed on the NCDEX hit a two-year low as higher output of mustard seed is likely in Rajasthan. The most active May contract of mustard seed down 0.3%. Output of mustard seed is expected to rise 14.5% on year to 3.7 million tonne in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun) in Rajasthan. An increase in the oilseed stocks at NCDEX-accredited warehouses also weighed on sentiment. Stocks of mustard seed at the exchange warehouses were at 19,405 tonne as on 18 April, compared with 14,865 tonne a week ago.
