Tur prices rise in Akola, steady in Kalaburagi.

Prices of tur rose in Akola, the benchmark market, due to higher demand from stockists. In Akola, tur was quoted at 3,800 rupees per 100 kg, up 50 rupees. Arrivals in the market were unchanged at 400-500 bags (1 bag = 100 kg). In Kalaburagi, prices were steady at 3,600-3,700 rupees. Arrivals in Kalaburagi were at only 400-500 bags, as most stocks from farmers have been procured by National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd.
