Despite lower arrivals, prices of mustard seed were down in Jaipur owing to weak demand from domestic oil millers and crushers. Arrivals across the country were estimated at 395,000 bags (1 bag=85kg) compared with 445,000 bags. Likely higher output of mustard seed in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun) also weighed on sentiment.
