Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences decreased its forecast for raw sugar prices on ICE in 2017-18 (Oct-Sep) to a three-year low of average 15 cents a pound from 22 cents per pound pegged earlier. The downward revision comes on the back of expectations of higher global sugar output during the next season.
