The East Godavari district administration is going to procure 11.75 metric tonnes of paddy from the farmers through 288 paddy procurement centres from the first week of April. Announcing this during a review meeting with the officials of the departments concerned, Joint Collector said that a concrete plan had been chalked out for paddy procurement during the rabi season.
