Prices of tur rose in Akola, the benchmark market, due to limited supply of the pulse amid strong demand from stockists and dal millers. In Akola, tur was sold at 3,750 rupees per 100 kg, up by 50 rupees. Arrivals in the market were largely unchanged. At Kalaburagi, a key market in Karnataka, price of the pulse was steady at 3,600-3,700 rupees.
