All-India progressive procurement of Rice as on 08 June 2018 for 2017-18 at 356.64 lakh tonnes against the procurement of 372.92 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of last year. The procurement of wheat for the rabi marketing season (RMS) 2018-19 was 351.40 lakh tonnes which was higher than the procurement of 302.36 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of RMS 2017- 18.
