National Food Authority (NFA) in Negros Occidental fell short anew on its rice distribution target last year mainly due to sufficient supply of commercial rice in the province. Based on its 2017 Rice Distribution Accomplishment Report, NFA-Negros Occidental said a total of 182,159 bags of NFA rice were distributed last year. The figure is 54 percent short than the actual target distribution of 400,000 bags.
