Australia 2017-18 wheat exports seen lower.

Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences has lowered its estimate for the country’s wheat exports in 2017-18 to 18.15 mln tn from its previous estimate of 20.89 mln tn. Exportable supplies are expected to decrease because of the smaller harvest. Exports are seen lower due to fall in production amid “well-below-average rainfall in autumn and early winter in Western Australia.
