Cambodia will reach an agreement with Bangladesh tomorrow for the kingdom’s rice to be exported to the South Asian country. Under the deal, Bangladesh will import 1 million tonnes of milled rice from Cambodia for 5 years. An agreement will be signed in Phnom Penh on Wednesday between the ministry and representatives of the Bangladeshi government. In the first quarter of the year, Cambodia exported a total of 288,562 tonnes of milled rice to 56 countries, up 7.6 percent compared with the same period last year.
