IMD’s Agrimet has asked farmers in Bihar to continue sowing maize and minor millets. Agrimet also advised farmers to prepare their land for transplanting long-duration varieties of rice. During Jun 1-Jul 18, the state received 4% below normal rainfall. Rainfall 4% below normal is considered as normal and the current weather and rainfall are favourable for the crops.
