Futures contracts of corn on the CBOT fell for the third consecutive trading day, after the USDA said that the crop was in a better condition than a week ago. According to USDA, 64% of the country’s corn crop was in a good-to-excellent condition as of Oct 08, compared with 63% a week ago. As of Oct 08, 33% of the crop across select states was harvested, compared with 17% a week ago.
