Over the period under review (November 30 – December 07), CBOT corn prices lost 0.88%. Last week the US corn export prices (January delivery) remained unchanged. Brazilian and Argentinean corn supply prices continued to grow, given the fears of farmers about low soil moisture reserves. The weather forecast in South America, as well as data about the US corn export inspections pressured the CBOT futures. During November 23-30, the volume decreased by 8% and was 50% lower than the volume over the same week in 2016. In October the USA exported 25% less corn than in October 2017 and 23% less than in September 2017.
