Futures contracts of corn rise on CBOT as traders covered their short positions after prices fell in last three sessions. most-active December contract of corn on the CBOT traded up 1%. The sentiment is also bearish as the USDA has increased its estimate of corn production in the US. Output of maize in the US is estimated at 362.1 mln tn in 2017-18, up from the 357.3 mln tn projected in June.
