CBOT wheat futures closed higher on technical buying at the end of the month and spillover strength from corn and soybeans. MGEX spring wheat pressured by higher-than-expected deliveries against the September contract on first notice day. Deliveries totaled 1,141 lots, topping trade expectations for zero to 400 deliveries. There are no deliveries against CBOT September wheat futures, below trade expectations for 100 to 500 lots, while K.C. September wheat deliveries totaled 275 contracts, in line with expectations. Canada wheat production 25.541 MMT, below expectations over 26 MMT, & 19.51% lower than LY.
