The March futures contract of wheat on the CBOT hit a near four-month high of $4.4750 per bushel due to concerns of crop damage amid persisting dry weather conditions in the US. Prices also continued to get support from a sharp fall in the dollar index. A weak greenback makes dollar-denominated CBOT wheat cheaper for holders of other currencies
