CBOT wheat up 1% as US spring crop yield seen hit.

Wheat futures on the CBOT rose 1% due to concerns over lower yield of spring wheat crop. According to Wheat Quality Council tour report for spring wheat, yield of the crop is seen lower in growing regions of mid-west US due to persisting dry weather conditions. Futures were further supported by concerns over rains in Europe, which are hampering the ongoing harvest and could also hit quality of crops.
