Mills in Brazil Centre-South region produced 1.75 mln tn sugar during the 2nd fortnight of May, up 4% from 1.69 mln tn LY. Mills in the region, accounts for over 90% of Brazil total output of sugar, crushed 31.59 mln tn of sugarcane during May 16-31, down 2.8% on year. From April 1 to May 31, mills crushed 111.84 mln tn of cane,down 20.9% on year. In the same period, they produced 5.70 mln tn of sugar, down 18.8% on year.
