Prices of chana fell in Delhi because of lower demand from dal millers and stockists amid higher supplies. In Delhi, arrivals were at 375 tonne, compared with 225 tonne on last week. Production of chana in Maharashtra in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun) is estimated to rise 129% on year to 1.8 million tonne.
