Prices of chana in the spot markets rise due to demand from millers and stockists, coupled with a decline in arrivals. Arrivals of chana in Delhi were at 900 tonne compared with 1,500 tonne. Arrivals in Bikaner were at 8,000 bags (1bag=100kg), down by 4,000 bags.
