Chana prices up in Delhi on high demand, low supply.

Prices of chana in Delhi rise due to higher demand from stockists. Supplies were insufficient to meet current demand, and this lifted prices of the commodity. In Delhi, arrivals were unchanged at 450 tonne. The average new crop arrivals during this period are generally 1,200 tonne. In Bikaner, another key market for chana, arrivals were unchanged at 12,000 bags (1 bag = 100 kg).
