Chana up in Delhi on bargain buying.

Prices of chana are up in Delhi due to bargain buying by domestic stockists after prices hit a three-week low. Arrivals of chana in Delhi are estimated at 375 tonne, compared with 225 tonne on previous close. Low supply coupled with renewed demand from local buyers also supported prices. According to the 3rd advance estimate by govt, output of chana in 2016-17 is estimated to be at 9.08 million tonne, compared with 9.12 million tonne in 2015-16.
