IMD’s Agrimet division has advised farmers in Chhattisgarh to control spread of blight disease in the rice crop. Symptoms of blight in the rice crop are observed from tillering to the milk stage. The disease hits the yield of the crop. The state is one of the leading growers of non-aromatic rice.
