Chhattisgarh government has announced a bonus of 300 rupees per 100 kg over and above the minimum support price for kharif paddy procured in 2017-18 (Oct-Sep). For 2017-18 kharif season, the Centre has fixed the minimum support price for common grade paddy at 1,550 rupees per 100 kg and grade A paddy at 1,590 rupees per 100 kg. The bonus will be applicable to both the varieties, but will be given only to farmers who had sold their crop till Jan 31. The bonus money will be transferred to farmers bank accounts in April.
