China regained the second position among importers of Ukrainian corn.

Ukraine exported 1582.1 KMT of corn in November 2017, or 30% less than in the same month last year (2264.3 KMT). Corn exports from Ukraine fell by 40% to 2.2 MMT in the first three months of the 2017/18 season against 3.69 MMT in September-November 2016/17. The reasons for the slump include both a corn crop decline in the country and comparatively weak foreign demand for this time of season.
