The CME will launch futures contracts of Black Sea wheat on Dec 18. The Black Sea wheat contract will be based on daily Freight-on-Board price of the Platts Russian Wheat (with 12.5% protein content). The Black Sea region comprising Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan is a major producer and exporter of wheat.
