Futures contracts of spices except coriander and jeera ended lower on domestic exchanges. Supply surged as the second round of picking is in progress in Kerala’s Idukki district and the peak season of arrivals has commenced. Prices also slumped as recent rains in the growing regions could lead to a rise in the production estimate for 2017-18 (Aug-Jul).
